ADHD Brain Training Program Facilitator

Children aged 6-12 and their caregivers

Parenting is a journey filled with challenges and triumphs, especially when raising a child with ADHD. As a mom myself, I understand the unique struggles parents face—the frustration, the worry, and the deep desire to see your child thrive. I also know the immense joy and pride that comes from watching your child overcome obstacles and grow into their potential. That’s why I am passionate about working with parents and children to navigate the ups and downs of ADHD, providing tools, strategies, and support to make the journey a little smoother.

My Approach

As the ADHD Program Facilitator, I specialize in working with parents and children aged 6-12 to create an environment where challenges are understood and strengths are celebrated. I take a collaborative approach, combining evidence-based strategies with compassion and understanding. My goal is to empower parents with the skills and confidence to support their child while helping children develop the tools they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

What I Offer

  • Caregiver Support: Practical guidance on managing ADHD-related behaviors, improving communication, and creating consistent routines that work for your family.

  • Skill-Building for Kids: Helping children develop focus, emotional regulation, and social skills through fun, engaging activities tailored to their needs.

  • Empathy and Understanding: As a mom, I recognize the emotional toll ADHD can take on the whole family. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for parents to share their experiences and feel supported.

Professional Experience and Expertise

  • Extensive Background in Mental Health: I also work as a Mental Health Therapist with the Peace Wapiti School Division and bring over a decade of experience supporting children, youth, and families in school, community, and therapeutic settings.

  • Specialized Knowledge of ADHD: Expertise in understanding the unique challenges of ADHD and delivering strategies to promote success at home, school, and beyond.

  • Registered Social Worker: With a Diploma in Social Work and a Bachelor in Social Work, I am committed to ethical, professional practice as a member of the Alberta College of Social Workers.

And, to help, we offer a FREE 20-minute consult to share how this works. I'm here to help your family move from stress and struggle to calm and progress. Let’s create a brighter future—together. Take the first step today.
