A little about the work I do
Life can bring moments that feel heavy; stress that builds, emotions that become hard to untangle, or relationship patterns that leave you feeling stuck or unsure of yourself. Many people come to therapy wanting clarity, connection, or simply a space to breathe. In the middle of life’s busyness, it’s easy to lose track of your own needs and voice.
Therapy offers a place to pause, get curious, and gently explore what’s beneath the surface. It’s where blind spots become clearer, patterns make more sense, and healing starts to feel possible. You can rewrite your story in real time.
My approach is relational, and solution-focused. I value both self-awareness and practical steps forward. My goal is to support you in reconnecting with yourself, making sense of your inner world, and navigating life’s challenges with more clarity and confidence. Above all, I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and real a space where you can show up exactly as you are.
Professional Background
I am a Mental Health Therapist with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and am currently completing my Master of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University. I bring over 15 years of experience as an addictions counsellor and mental health therapist, motivated by a deep belief in each person’s capacity for transformation and growth.
My experience spans adult inpatient and outpatient care, youth and family programs, community mental-health organizations, and school-based supports. I have supported clients navigating:
Anxiety & depression
Trauma
Loss & grief
Anger & stress management
Substance use concerns
Parenting challenges
Complex family systems
Relationship issues
Self-image & self-esteem
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can exhale: where honesty is met with compassion, and growth happens at a pace that feels right for you.

More Than Just My Work
When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me doodling in the margins of my notebook or trying to mediate the constant “emotional discussions” happening between my three Goldendoodles; who, honestly, display better emotional regulation than most of us (myself included). Snowboarding with my family brings me a sense of joy and perspective, reminding me regularly that falling is simply part of learning. And yes… my 5 PM coffee is non-negotiable. It’s less about caffeine and more about the ritual—like a tiny reset button for my day.
I bring the same blend of humour and humanity into my work. Growth can be messy, healing is rarely linear, and sometimes the most meaningful thing we can offer one another is the space to show up as our true, complicated, honest selves.
Every time I want to apologize for being “too much,” I think about when the Mad Hatter tells Alice, “you used to be much more…muchier. You’ve lost your muchness.” (Mad Hatter- Tim Burton).
Let us begin this journey together, building a narrative that embodies depth, resilience, and purpose. Take the first step today.
